A history society dedicated to researching family history in and around the Cambridge area.

Royston and District Museum

The museum has a collection of photographs and documents of local interests and these may be made available to researchers by prior arrangement with the curator. Please contact the museum for further enquiries. The Museum has a large collection of ceramics and glass from the later part of the nineteenth century through to the present day. It houses the Royston Tapestry which is an ongoing project. There is also an extensive art collection including works by the local artist E.H. Whydale.

What Royston Did ...

The "What Royston Did" project is designed to allow local people to tell their stories and help build a picture of the life and times of Royston, a small market town in Hertfordshire

91st Bomber Group

The 91st Bomber Group (USAF) was based at Bassingbourn, a few miles north of Royston. The site contains stories and memories of pilots and ground crew from WW2.
